This one was actually a hard one for me. I'm not used to doing a background only picture. Having no other focal point but the background was a strange change.

Also this is my first fisheye type drawing. Took a few attempts to try to get the math right.

I hope you guys like it.

REALLY nicely done, Tavis. I couldn't pull perspective off like this to save my life. I've always been really impressed with your innate geometry skills when it comes to backgrounds - things like that are my antithesis. <3

Thanks. The geometry was rather crazy on this one. Probably the hardest part was figuring out how the middle would have to curve to deal with two different horizon lines without looking obvious.

Crazy geometry? I can only imagine M.C. Escher trying the same thing...it must be insanely difficult to reconcile geometry and perspective and attempting to make an optical effect by hand...

Maybe if Cyan would try to add more content to Uru, this is how the great library would look.
