Old lineart. I drew the lineart back in 05 (for those wondering about the 05 near my name down there.)

I really liked the lineart but just never got around to coloring it.

Well today thanks to feeling bad I stayed home and forced myself to work on it finally. The image itself is a joke on Tavis. Basically on gaia he had a fairy shop a long time ago. My justification for him having such a shop when he hates fairies so much was that he was actually kidnapping them and then selling them off as pets. He never did forgive the fairies for turning him into a satyr. XP

Colored in open canvas 1.1 I am starting to like this program more and more.

Heeeeey, I remember this lineart! ^___^ I loved it when ya drew it (and still find it hilarious ) and I'm glad that you found the time to sit down and color it . Sorry you weren't feeling well, though. That does suck. You and me and Kamiki all were having blegh days yesterday - maybe something in the air :/

I'm surprised you don't get more comments on this! I love Tavis, and this is one fantastic piece.

One question, though, about his retribution. Why would he be mad about getting turned into a satyr? Satyrs are much cooler than humans, or at least, it seems like it would be a lot more fun going through life as a horned ungulate. O.o

I like him as a satyr. He just doesn’t like himself as a satyr. When I first started Rping him he existed during Victorian times and grew up on the street. He pretty much just assumed that he looks like a close bet to what people expect a demon/devil to look like (cloven hooves, horns and all) and wasn’t too understanding to this whole “satyr” thing.

So he somewhat became paranoid about it and of course took it out on the fairies. XD

I think he makes a great satyr and I love satyrs because of him.

What could he possibly have been that would be better than being a satyr? They eat, drink, sing, play the pan pipes, and make merry with women. They are the only beings that can play around with nymphs and not loss their sight! Sounds like a good life to me. lol.
Love it. Very nice.
Interesting look of the fairy too. I guess when the word is brought up, most people think Tinkerbell (or I do) so this little green thing in the front corner was a bit startling and refreshing.

I love the perspective of this, as well as the different kinds of fairies depicted. Pity only two are close enough to make out details. ;)

I love the overall feel of this. The colors are warm and there's a kind of personal feeling from that, then add on the sadism of bottling fairies and you have a mighty fantastic (and funny) impression from just a glance at this! xD

And it took me about 5 minutes to calm down enough to write something so coherent. It started as some babble about how much I adore Tavis and how I think you're the cat's pajamas as an artist. ;P
